London Assembly Regeneration Committee to discuss the role of BIDs

The London Assembly Regeneration Committee is to discuss the role of BIDs, including their achievements and concerns with their governance and accountability with the following guests:

Dr Julie Grail, Chief Executive, British BIDs;
Debbie Jackson, Assistant Director – Regeneration, Greater London Authority (GLA);
Anna Minton, Writer, Journalist and Reader in Architecture, University of East London;
Ros Morgan, Chief Executive, Kingstonfirst BID; and
Cllr Guy Nicholson, Cabinet Member for Regeneration, London Borough of Hackney.

The meeting will take place on Tuesday, 13 October at 10:00am in Committee Room 5 at City Hall (The Queen’s Walk, London SE1).
Media and members of the public are invited to attend. The meeting can also be viewed via webcast.
